Building these bases is very simple.
All you need is a small magnet and an iron cilynder (the longer the better). I obtained them by destroying a piece of Geomag (a toy unused by my kids).
First of all you have to drill the aircraft and glue the magnet...Then you may stick the iron cilynder to the transparent base and file it as shown
now your base is ready to get your plane and bring it to the tabletop...
